Terms & Conditions

The terms under which we provide our venue and catering services.

These terms and conditions govern the provision of venue and catering services by Fleet Street Events Ltd T/A Medley (“Medley”, “we”, “us”). By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Medley is a private venue offering exclusive hire of the entire space. For this reason, all bookings are subject to a minimum spend of €6,000. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a signed contract and the agreed deposit. Provisional holds lapse after 14 days unless confirmed in writing.

A non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking. The balance of the agreed fee is due in advance of the event date. Any additional charges incurred during the event (e.g. bar extensions, supplementary catering) will be invoiced within seven days.

Cancellation terms and any associated charges will be set out in your booking contract. Medley reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control; in such cases we will refund any sums already paid, but we will not be liable for any consequential loss.

Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests while on site. We reserve the right to remove any person acting unreasonably or in breach of these terms.

You are liable for any damage caused to the venue, its fittings or contents during your event by you, your guests or your contractors. Medley accepts no liability for personal property brought onto the premises, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
